Ivan, an actor-turned-door-keeper, arrives from the USA to St.-Petersburg, to this friends of youth, a married couple, Kolya and Marina. Marina is a pianist, who has never known a success, Nikolay is a writer. Behind the wall there is Valery, a neighbour, for whom Nikolay labours some special feelings. And Ivan has been loving Marina for years...
Will there be a love square for one evening? Or anything else?.
